Ashley Assembly!
Ashley Elementary! Thank you so much for letting me come to your school! It was so much fun. All of the kids were so great :) they sang along and I've never heard anyone cheer that loud in my life! I felt very welcomed and loved the kids participation. And best of all I got hugs from a lot of the second graders. :) I felt so loved! And on the way out they all gave me high fives. Thank you teachers for letting me come talk to your students. Keep being amazing guys and have a happy Thanksgiving! Remember to be happy, helpful, grateful, and honest! And your ABCz
Duchesne Assembly
I got to go to Duchesne and talk to the kids in the elementary school there K-2. They were very respectful! And they all liked their gratitude rocks I hope. They were so good and listened, sang along with me. I had so much fun going to talk to their school. What was so awesome was that I went to go talk about gratitude, but that's what their school theme was for the month. So it was fun how that all worked out. And they are all wonderful, amazing, grateful children. Thank you so much for letting me come to your school Duchesne, it was so fun! You were my very first assembly!
Trees for charity!
I went to trees for charity! It was so fun! I got to see Santa Claus and the trees were so pretty. And the kids were so sweet. I grabbed a Santa's helper card and I am so excited to go buy a new coat for a 16 year old girl. Service is truly one of the best things we can do for people. It helps us better our selves and make the world a better place. I was very happy I could go and see the service our community puts out. I hope everyone has a chance to give some service this month.

STATE!!!!
State was so awesome!!! All the girls were so amazing and we all had a blast. I am sure that everyone walked away from this weekend with a friend! I made so many :) I am so happy that I went and I learned so much from the experience! I worked hard and did my best! And even though dancing is definately not one of my strong points I made it work. :)
Marissa Nielsen is such an amazing girl! She has done so much with her title and her platform. I hope I can do the same. :)
I can't wait for my next speaking occasion!

TOMORROWS THE NIGHT!
Wow the months have gone by so fast! Tomorrow is the night and man am I nervous! But everything is going to go well. I know it :) Well I have my dresses pressed and I am all packed and tonight I leave for Provo. The schedule is crazy but as long as I keep my smile up I know this is going to be fun. The girls are wonderful! And since I had a chance to go to a few of the work shops I have made some friends and they are all really nice! Lately things have been pretty stressful getting ready and stuff, but this is a big thing for me! So I am going to do my best and it should all go really well.
So the last couple of weeks I have had the oppurtunity to go to schools and talk to children about my platform. I have gone to second and third grade classes and a preschool! So far the second graders are the perfect level for teaching. I sing songs on my guitar with them and I teach them that its okay to be
unique and special and that you should have gratitude.
I also give the children gratitude rocks. A gratitude rock is just a smooth little rock that goes in your pocket. And when you feel it or touch it in your pocket, it reminds you to be grateful for all that you have and reminds you how unique and awesome you are.
I truly believe that helping someone realize their potential is a very important thing. And that when we lift others we build ourselves up as well. I love the children, they are so sweet! Just today I went to a preschool and one little boy told me all about this catterpiller he found and then at least five or six kids told me a story to about a catterpiller or something that happened. They are so cute and they are so awesome. I love how respectful they are and how willing they are to listen. Going to class rooms is definately my favorite part of having my title. All the little girls when I walk in a room are always so happy and say "look theres a princess!" And its so sweet because I know that I can be their role model and that my platform is an important but a simple message that touches everyone not just little kids. I look forward to the next class I get to go to every week ;)
So I realized some things over the last few months...
I hope you all have a good weekend to!

So I realized some things over the last few months...
- You are what you say you are.
- Thoughts can become actions.
- Confidence is vital!
- And its okay to try new things, even if it does pull you out and away from your comfort zone.
I hope you all have a good weekend to!

SEPTEMBER!!!!!!!!
It is already September! The pageant is next month and I can't decide if I am nervous or excited. I have my dresses and I just have to say that my evening gown is amazing. My talent dress is crazy looking but when I put it on I think it is me. So there is so much going on this month. I have to get to schools and talk about my platform. I have school to keep up on and house work! But I think I can do it. :)
So something super cool is happening on September 11, 2010! My Boyfriends sister is getting married. I am so excited for her. I can't believe it is this weekend. It feels like just yesterday It was two months away. Its so crazy how time flies!!! or is it flys. Hmm.. I like english but it is absolutely the most confusing language there is. I feel bad for people who have to learn all the rules of grammer and all the junk that comes with it. Just think I am a junior so I only have one more year of it. But! i still say blah!!!
Well the lesson for today is: Don't Ever Plan Anything! because usually your plans change and it is such a hassel to try to fix everything. I am one of those people that like to plan and I have just found it so frustrating to plan things out how I want. But some how it all works out. I guess the only one who can ever make sure things go the way they are suppose to is God. I heard this song once that said if you want to make God laugh just tell him your plans. And man do I believe that is true. So remember... if you plan something Don't Plan TOO Far Ahead. Or it could just turn into a huge mess and no one likes to clean up those. And if there is anyone who knows how to plan ahead or has a trick for keeping everything in order, you should really let me know sometime.
Hope you all have a good september and I am getting ready for the big day!
:) ♥

Sometimes I get carried away with my own life, my own problems and I forget that i'm not the only person in the world that needs help. Sometimes i find myself taking forgranted what i have when i could have nothing. Being selfish when i should really be giving. And sometimes i just forget that there is someone in more pain and less fortunate than me.
My goal for this week is to:
" " this much isn't very much. But Its all of those " " this muches that keep this world " "this much better.
My goal for this week is to:
- Make someone laugh
- Make someone smile
- Help someone out
- Do my best when i feel discouraged
- And last but not least show someone i love them.
" " this much isn't very much. But Its all of those " " this muches that keep this world " "this much better.
